How Do I Tell My DJ What Music We Want

It’s your event and we want to make sure you are hearing the songs you want to hear! When you book a Premier DJs team member, we make it easy to get your requested songs to us.

 

All our clients get 24/7 access to their own personal planning portal. This way, you know we have received the requests and it’s not going to get lost in email. The portal sits right on our server so it’s safe, secure and the perfect way of letting us know what songs you want.

 

You will receive a form which will ask for a lot of detail about the event, but also what key songs you want. For example, what your first dance will be, your song for cake cutting etc. There is also an area where you can drag and drop songs into your request list. There are categories of ‘Must Play’, ‘Play if Possible’ and ‘Do Not Play’.

 

This way, we have a good idea of the style of music you want for your event.

 

If you are more comfortable creating a Spotify playlist, that is fine. You can share the link of your playlist with us by pasting the address in your planning portal to ensure we have it. (We always suggest doing it through the portal rather than email in case it gets lost or filters to spam and we don’t see it!)

 

If you are not too bothered by creating lists of songs, that is fine. Many of our couples just type a few of their favourite artists in their portal, or genres of music they prefer and let the DJ do the curation and choosing of the music on the night.
