When you book with Premier DJs, you get access to online planning forms and also a music suggestion tools where you can choose the songs you would like to have played by your DJ to your hearts content.

However …

Be mindful of your guests. Try and mix up the genres of music to accommodate all your guests. Just because you might love on style of music doesn’t mean everyone at your wedding shares your passion.

My giving your DJ a good list of suggestions based over many genres, it gives a much better chance that you are hitting the target of keeping all your guests happy by hearing something they know and love.

It also makes it easier on your DJ to have a lot of genres and styles to use as a guide. This way it reduces that awkward conversation your DJ has to have with guests that come up and complain that they don’t like the music being played.

Sure … it’s your event and you SHOULD hear what you want, but it is also a night to ensure all your guests are having a good time too. 

There is nothing worse that having a night where we are told to stick to one genre only to see guests leaving in droves at the first chance they get because they don’t like the music.  It is a bad night for you, a bad night for them and makes us look like bad DJs.

We also like to ensure that our clients realise that the music given to us is used as a suggestion only (other than a short list of must play key songs). Your DJ will take your suggestions as a guide and play them if possible along with other songs that they know will keep your guests having an enjoyable time.
