When Do We Meet The DJ?

There are many companies and DJs that meet with clients before the event. However, to keep our costs down we don’t offer this. Let us explain why this is something you should consider if meeting the DJ is something you are wanting to do.

 

We keep our prices low and affordable, however we still have business overheads. Business registration, website hosting and maintenance, equipment purchases and repairs, advertising costs, staff costs, insurance, music licensing and purchases. These all add up to be quite a lot in the running costs of a business. However, we work on low margins in order to provide a quality DJ at a low cost.

 

Many DJs are more than happy to meet, however they are typically much more expensive as, they may offer “free” meetings but they are factoring in the time and cost of meeting in their prices.

 

If meeting the DJ is important to you, you can either look at another provider that provides you with meetings, or we can accommodate it, however at a cost as we have to pay our staff for their time. If you are looking at another company, we are happy to provide recommendations of suppliers we like, know and trust.

 

Another factor is that, usually, events are booked months prior to the event. As we have a large team of DJs, we don’t know which member of the team we will appoint to your event. This is based on their availability, location and suitability for your particular event. We usually assign DJs only a week or two out from your event date to ensure you are getting the best available member from our team to accommodate your style of event and taste in music.
